Welcome to ChemGrout
ChemGrout started in 1963 as grouting contractors providing cement and chemical grouting field services. Invaluable experience was gained in the field on over 350 projects, both large and small. This field experience enables us to understand your needs and recommend the proper equipment for your application, ChemGrout equipment was originally designed for its own use. That is why the units are engineered and constructed for rugged field use, portability and low maintenance. Before long this unique equipment caught the attention of others. By 1969, the company began to sell and rent its grouting equipment to other contractors while maintaining its own field grouting work.
The field work was discontinued in 1978, so that the company could focus entirely upon the design and manufacture of grouting equipment. The concepts of mixer-pump balance, user-friendly operation and ease of maintenance are emphasized in the design of the grouting systems. Enough technology is incorporated to maximize efficiency, yet not so much as to compromise ease of operation or maintenance. Each ChemGrout unit is designed for “balance” of grout delivery. Complete grouting units are always designed to allow the user continuous, non-stop grouting capability at published pumping rates for the unit. That is, the mixing tank is large and fast enough, and the storage hopper has a large enough capacity to keep the pump “fed” without interruption.

CG-CCM40/H
The ChemGrout CG-CCM40/H High-Capacity Colloidal Mixer is a skid mounted system. The colloidal mixer is equipped with a high speed centrifugal diffuser-type pump that disperses the cementitous material down to its smallest size to achieve complete particle wetting (or wetness) and a powered bridge breaker to precondition material before entering the colloidal mixing pump. The rugged steel frame stands up to the toughest conditions on the job site. Operator controls are centrally located for efficient production. All components are easily accessible for operating, cleaning and maintenance. The ChemGrout CG-CCM40 Colloidal Mixer is designed to be add on units to complement equipment that is already owned by the user.
CG-500/031 High Capacity Geotech
The ChemGrout CG-500/031 High-Capacity Geothermal Series has been designed specifically for grouting geothermal loops. These skid mounted grout plants efficiently mix and pump the high ratio sand/bentonite materials specified by loop designers. The CG-500/031 feature two 70-gallon (265 liters) mixing tanks, a large 45-gallon (170 liter) holding hopper and rugged single-acting 3″ piston grout pump. Each mixing tank is equipped with baffles, bag breaker and a variable speed high-efficiency paddle mixer that provides rapid grout mixing. Tank outlets are large slide gates that allow viscous grouting materials to flow quickly into the removable holding hopper. The dual mix tanks alternately feed this large holding hopper providing continuous pumping rates up to 16 gpm. The grout pump is a 3″ positive displacement, single acting piston pump that disassembles with only a hammer for fast and thorough cleaning. The rugged steel frame stands up to the toughest conditions on the job site. Operator controls are centrally located for efficient production. Shown with optional water batcher.
CG-3X8 High Pressure Plunger Pump Series
The ChemGrout High Pressure Pump series are skid mounted grout pumps. These low maintenance pumps are designed to work with your grouting batch plant or mixing system. The grout pump is a double acting, positive displacement, plunger style pump that is available in three different sizes, 3.5×8, 3×8 and 2×8, offering discharge pressures of 800 psi, 1,000 psi and 2,000 psi respectively. The plunger pump is designed so that conversion between the pressure outputs is quick, easy and cost effective. The pump has patented fasteners that dramatically reduce disassembly time for cleaning and maintenance. The pump is available with a 2″ ID ribbed suction hose or a 21 gallon holding hopper that is connected directly to the plunger pump. Operator controls are centrally located for efficient production.
Grout Paddle Mixers
ChemGrout paddle mixers are equipped with a vertical shaft and feature specially designed blades and baffles to develop a high shear mixing action, insuring a rapid and thorough mix. The paddle rotates at speeds up to 200 RPM. The tank bottoms are sloped toward the outlet slide valve so the thickest materials fall easily into the pump hopper. Each mixer is equipped with baffles, bag breakers, covers and variable speed high-efficiency paddles that provide a rapid mixing cycle. These paddle mixers come in various sizes from 22 gallon to 178 gallon (80 to 674 liters), and a wide variety of power options including: Air, Hydraulic, direct electric (no variable speed paddle) and electric with a variable frequency drive for speed control. The tank leg height can be specified to meet your jobsite conditions. The rugged steel frame stands up to the toughest conditions on the jobsite. Operator controls are centrally located for efficient production. All components are easily accessible for operating, cleaning and maintenance.
CG-450 High–Shear Colloidal Series
The ChemGrout CG-450/2L4 are specially designed, skid or wheel mounted, high shear colloidal injection systems designed for vacuum grouting of post tensioned cables ducts or small injection projects. These units are designed to inject PT Cable grouts for small tendons or voids. Materials include Sika 300 PT, MBT 1205 and a wide variety of other PT grouts. This unit features a 20-gallon (76 liters) high shear colloidal mixing tank, a 2L4 progressing cavity pump, and a 34 gal (128 liter) agitator tank. The mixing tank is equipped with a baffle and a variable speed high-shear impeller, rotating at speeds up to 3000 rpm, providing rapid mixing action. From the mix tank, material flows through a large 4” slide valve, onto a fine mesh screen, and into the agitator tank. The injection pump is a variable speed, positive displacement, progressing cavity pump that delivers up to 6 gpm, 174 psi (22 lpm, 12 bar). This unit can be powered by compressed air, electric/hydraulic, gas/hydraulic or diesel/hydraulic. The rugged steel frame, complete with caster type wheel stands up to the toughest conditions on the job site. All moving parts are covered for safety. Operator controls are centrally located for efficient production.
